Solution Consultant

Job Description

The Solution Consultant will play a key role in the sales process, ensuring that new customers understand how the TestReach platform can transform their delivery of assessments and meet their business requirements. Reporting to the Head of Growth, the Solution Consultant will act as a bridge between new customers and the product development team. You will be a client-facing professional, often involved in workshops, demos, and solution design, making strong interpersonal skills and technical expertise essential.

This role will work closely with new customers to understand their technical and business requirements, define solution architectures, and map their on-boarding journey. You will collaborate with product managers, engineers and on-boarding experts to ensure that clients’ technical challenges are met with innovative and scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

1. Solution Design and Architecture

  • Develop solution designs that meet clients' specific requirements, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and aligned with TestReach’s platform capabilities.
  • Lead relevant technical discovery sessions with clients to understand their existing systems, workflows, edge cases and integration needs.
  • Define integration strategies, providing clear documentation for both internal teams and clients.
  • Ensure solutions are technically feasible and aligned with best practices and the TestReach platform.

2. Customer Engagement and Workshops

  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them to understand the technical aspects of the TestReach platform.
  • In collaboration with the Enterprise Consultant and Sales Consultants, conduct workshops, presentations, and demonstrations for new customers, showcasing how TestReach’s technology can meet their business needs.
  • Provide technical expertise during sales pitches and pre-sales engagements, ensuring clients understand the value and functionality of the platform.

3. Collaboration and Communication

  • Work closely with the Product Development team to ensure that the solutions align with the company’s technology roadmap and architectural standards.
  • Act as the main point of technical contact between customers and internal teams, ensuring clear communication regarding requirements, issues, and timelines.
  • Collaborate with the Product Development team to provide feedback on customer needs and future feature development.

4. Technology Leadership and Innovation

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, ensuring TestReach sales remains competitive in the online assessment space.
  • Propose improvements to existing functionality gathered from engagement with the market.
  • Identify technical initiatives that can reduce our sales cycle and accelerate growth.
  • Share technical knowledge and best practices across the team, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and learning.

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus
  • Proven experience in a commercial client-facing role, with a strong track record of delivering solutions that meet business requirements and drive revenue growth.
  • Experience in the SaaS industry, ideally with exposure to online assessments, educational technology, or professional certification platforms.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Hands-on experience with requirement management and business process mapping, cloud technologies, APIs, and system integration.
  • Strong understanding of product management, software architecture, system integration, and cloud platforms (preferably AWS).
  • Experience with enterprise-scale platforms, APIs, microservices, and data integration strategies.
  • Knowledge of assessment systems, CRM and LMS is an advantage.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to analyse complex client requirements and design creative, scalable solutions.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, able to quickly identify and resolve issues as they arise during early-stage implementation activity (e.g. pilots).
  • Comfortable working in a cross-functional environment, collaborating with product managers, engineers, sales teams, and client stakeholders.
  • Ability to influence and guide internal and external teams through technical challenges and opportunities.

Sales Consultant

Job Description

This role is in Sales, where we’re looking for someone with a very successful track record in SaaS B2B sales, and experience selling both software and services to a senior audience. The individual will be responsible for targeting and closing new business reporting directly to our Head of Growth and working closely with our Pre-Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Services, Product and Engineering teams.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage a portfolio of sales opportunities with an associated revenue target
  • Develop and build the pipeline in line with the Sales plan and strategy
  • Identify and close commercial opportunities with the prospects in your pipeline, through continued nurturing and relationship building.
  • Lead suitable tendering processes and work closely with colleagues across the team, in particular Pre-Sales Enterprise Consultants, to prepare proposals and deliver high quality submissions to our customers
  • Bring deals to a close in a timely manner consistent with sales quota achievement ensuring all details are captured in our CRM
  • Report regularly on activity and portfolio status via pre-defined reporting mechanisms
  • Pro-actively source and evaluate new sales opportunities by leveraging your network and thinking creatively
  • Take a consultative approach to the role by listening to our potential customers and exploring how TestReach can help them to solve their business challenges
  • Attend and, where required, present at various sales and marketing events
  • Provide market feedback and insights from prospects and customers to relevant areas within TestReach
  • As we scale our team, bring energy and drive to the role to help us achieve our growth ambitions

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or related discipline
  • At least 3-5 years’ experience successfully selling SaaS software and services
  • A proven track record of accurate forecasting, meeting, and exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent proposal writing and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail
  • An understanding of software implementation services or consultancy is an advantage
  • Ability to maintain cooperative working relationships with all levels across the company
  • Strong client relationship building skills
  • Excellent collaboration, organisational and time management skills and the ability to work accurately and meet deadlines
  • Self-starter who plans their activity and works in a structured manner whilst recognising the importance of the team
  • Strong work ethic with ambition to progress and overachieve
  • Passionate about technology, technically savvy and proficient in office applications

Enterprise Consultant

Job Description

Working with key members of our sales team, you will be responsible for presenting our products and services to potential clients, identifying specific customer requirements, answering product and services-related questions, and recommending ways to promote and sell the products to align with the customers business.

We are looking for a tech savvy, smart and driven professional to be a key contributor to complex sales processes, working closely with our prospects to ensure that our best-in-class platform is successfully sold.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Sales team in responding to enquiries about the TestReach application and features.
  • Answering technical queries or liaising with other areas of the business to answer these queries as appropriate
  • Supporting the sales team in writing proposals and responding to tenders, taking the lead in the technical elements of our response
  • Crafting the narrative approach to product demo’s, set-up, and delivery of the demo’s
  • Analysing prospect requirements and mapping to TestReach workflows and features
  • Maintaining the sales product database
  • Providing a sales-to-services handover for complex projects
  • Providing feedback to Product Management on areas of demand

Experience

  • Experience in Pre-Sales / Business Development role, ideally within an Enterprise Software environment
  • Experience with tender processes including complex Requests for Information or Proposal (RFI/RFP)
  • Familiarity with Sales support tools and end-to-end pre-sales process management
  • A solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development or delivery
