Finance Manager - SaaS

Location: Hybrid (Dublin HQ) – 1 day in office, 4 days remote
Reports To: Director of Finance
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

About Us

We’re a fast-scaling SaaS business disrupting our sector with a modern, tech-led approach. Our team is passionate about innovation, delivering real impact, and building a scalable, sustainable company. With continued growth, we’re now looking for an experienced Finance Manager to strengthen our finance team and build the backbone of financial operations for scale.

The Role

This is a pivotal role in our Finance function, ideal for a dynamic self-starter with a sharp eye for detail and a mindset for growth. You will be responsible for owning and improving core financial processes, reporting and controls, with a clear remit to prepare our finance operations for scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Month-End & Reporting: Own the monthly close process, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of financial reports and KPI packs to senior leadership.
  • Process Improvement: Assess, optimise and implement financial processes and systems that support scalability and automation.
  • Financial Operations: Provide oversight and strategic guidance on the day-to-day financial operations, executed by the Senior Finance Administrator. Responsibilities include reviewing bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable processes, and employee expenses to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal controls and best practices. You will play a key role in strengthening our operational finance function through effective delegation, review, and process improvement.
  • Audit Ownership: Lead the preparation and delivery of the year-end audit process, acting as the primary point of contact for auditors.
  • Financial Technology: Actively support finance system development and implementation projects as we evolve our tech stack.
  • Financial Analysis: Partner with the Director of Finance to deliver insightful analysis for strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Business Partnering: -Partner with key stakeholders across the organisation to ensure financial insights and commercial awareness are embedded across the business.

About You

We’re looking for someone ambitious, collaborative, strategic and solution oriented. You should be excited by working in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment and comfortable taking ownership of your remit with autonomy.

Your Skills & Experience

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Strong hands-on experience in a similar role
  • Proven experience in financial modelling, process improvement, and systems implementation.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to simplify complex financial information for non-finance stakeholders.
  • Growth mindset – you challenge the status quo and look for better ways of working.
  • Highly organised with an exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience with NetSuite, Xero, or similar systems is advantageous.

Pre-Sales Solution Consultant (PSC)

Job Description

The Pre-Sales Solution Consultant (PSC) will play a key role in the sales process, ensuring that new customers understand how the TestReach platform can transform their delivery of assessments and meet their business requirements.

Reporting to the Head of Growth, with a dotted line for day to day operational activity to a more experienced Pre-Sales Solution Consultant, the PSC will support daily sales activities, collaborating closely with the Head of Growth, Sales Consultants and other cross-functional teams. You will be a client-facing professional, often involved in workshops, demos, and customer calls making strong interpersonal skills and technical expertise essential.

This role will work closely with prospects to gather and interpret technical and business requirements. You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and onboarding experts to ensure that clients’ technical challenges are met with innovative and scalable solutions.

The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 3 years of post-graduate experience in a SaaS, EdTech, or technology-driven environment and demonstrate a passion for problem-solving, innovation, and scalable solution design.

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Engagement and Workshops

  • In collaboration with PSCs and Sales Consultants, conduct workshops, presentations, and demonstrations for new customers, showcasing how TestReach’s technology can meet their business needs.
  • Provide technical expertise during sales pitches and pre-sales engagements, ensuring clients understand the value and functionality of the platform.

2. Solution Design and Architecture

  • Support and where appropriate, lead relevant technical discovery sessions with clients to understand their existing systems, workflows, edge cases and integration needs.
  • Define integration strategies, providing clear documentation for both internal teams and clients.
  • Ensure solutions are technically feasible and aligned with best practices and the TestReach platform.

3. Collaboration and Communication

  • Act as a point of technical contact between customers and internal teams, ensuring clear communication regarding requirements, issues, and timelines.
  • Collaborate with the Product Development team to provide feedback on customer needs and future feature development.

4. Technology Awareness and Innovation

  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies, ensuring TestReach sales remains competitive in the online assessment space.
  • Propose improvements to existing functionality gathered from engagement with the market.
  • Identify technical initiatives that can reduce our sales cycle and accelerate growth.
  • Share technical knowledge and best practices across the team, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and learning.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 3 years of post-graduate experience in a SaaS, EdTech, or technology driven environment
  • Demonstrable client-facing experience and confidence presenting to stakeholders of varying technical backgrounds
  • Experience planning and delivering high quality customer demos
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex requirements into clear, demonstratable solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities
  • Passion for technology.

Desirable Experience

  • Prior experience in pre-sales, solution consulting, or business analysis roles
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, SSO, cloud technologies, or similar integration approaches.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in product development, onboarding, or implementation.
  • Awareness of assessment and examination delivery platforms is a plus.

Sales Consultant

Job Description

This role is in Sales, where we’re looking for someone with a very successful track record in SaaS B2B sales, and experience selling both software and services to a senior audience. The individual will be responsible for targeting and closing new business reporting directly to our Head of Growth and working closely with our Pre-Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Services, Product and Engineering teams.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage a portfolio of sales opportunities with an associated revenue target
  • Develop and build the pipeline in line with the Sales plan and strategy
  • Identify and close commercial opportunities with the prospects in your pipeline, through continued nurturing and relationship building.
  • Lead suitable tendering processes and work closely with colleagues across the team, in particular Pre-Sales Enterprise Consultants, to prepare proposals and deliver high quality submissions to our customers
  • Bring deals to a close in a timely manner consistent with sales quota achievement ensuring all details are captured in our CRM
  • Report regularly on activity and portfolio status via pre-defined reporting mechanisms
  • Pro-actively source and evaluate new sales opportunities by leveraging your network and thinking creatively
  • Take a consultative approach to the role by listening to our potential customers and exploring how TestReach can help them to solve their business challenges
  • Attend and, where required, present at various sales and marketing events
  • Provide market feedback and insights from prospects and customers to relevant areas within TestReach
  • As we scale our team, bring energy and drive to the role to help us achieve our growth ambitions

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or related discipline
  • At least 3-5 years’ experience successfully selling SaaS software and services
  • A proven track record of accurate forecasting, meeting, and exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent proposal writing and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail
  • An understanding of software implementation services or consultancy is an advantage
  • Ability to maintain cooperative working relationships with all levels across the company
  • Strong client relationship building skills
  • Excellent collaboration, organisational and time management skills and the ability to work accurately and meet deadlines
  • Self-starter who plans their activity and works in a structured manner whilst recognising the importance of the team
  • Strong work ethic with ambition to progress and overachieve
  • Passionate about technology, technically savvy and proficient in office applications
