TestReach Hosts Medical Assessment Forum at the Royal College of Anaesthetists

On 27th March 2025, TestReach proudly hosted its Medical Assessment Forum, a landmark event that brought together senior leaders and experts from across the medical and healthcare assessment landscape. Held at the prestigious Royal College of Anaesthetists in London, the forum created a vibrant space for dialogue, innovation, and shared learning in the field of high-stakes online assessment.

The day began with a keynote address from Professor Mary Horgan, Immediate Past President of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland, Chief Medical Officer of Ireland, and UCD Professor of Infectious Diseases at Mater University Hospital. Her address explored the evolving demands in medical education, the role of innovation and the impact of technology on the strategy for professional colleges. Her insights set the tone for a day filled with thoughtful exchange and forward-thinking discussion.

Presentations from the TestReach leadership team offered a window into the future of online assessment. Co-Founder and co-CEO Sheena Bailey shared her vision for the event and partnership in the healthcare area, while Gordon Rose, Director of Product & Engineering, highlighted the latest innovations in the TestReach platform. Louella Morton, co-Founder and co-CEO, and Amy Noonan, VP of Operations and Customer Experience, offered practical insights into the delivery of seamless assessment services which maximise test integrity.

A highlight of the day was the expert panel discussion, moderated by Alison Bell, Head of Growth at TestReach. The panel featured:

The discussion explored some timely topics in healthcare assessment today. Panellists shared insights on the impact of AI in assessment, the management of assessment data, balancing test integrity with candidate experience, and the long- term strategic priorities of their organisations, particularly around embracing innovation and technology to future-proof assessment delivery.

With diverse perspectives from medicine, dentistry, paediatrics, optometry, counselling and veterinary science, the conversation sparked thoughtful dialogue and practical takeaways for everyone in the room. Throughout the day, the atmosphere was one of connection and shared purpose.
